About Clear Water Industries

Clear Water Industries was started in January of 2001 as a sister company to D.F. Clark, Inc.. D.F. Clark, Inc. has been in business since 1984 and specializes in septic system installations, septic system repairs, Title 5 Inspections and septic pumping.

Clear Water Industries is the Massachusetts distributor of the Waterloo Biofilter treatment technology. The Waterloo Biofilter (approved by the Massachuseets Department of Environmental Protection (DEP)) provides high quality on-site wastewater treatment and used for septic systems in difficult or environmentally sensitive sites. Clear Water Industries provides complete design and installation support along with unparalleled customer service with each Waterloo Biofilter system installed.

Clear Water Industries is the local representative for the White Knight treatment system. This techology is used to rejuvenate failed or failing septic systems. The White Knight is a low cost option to a total septic system replacement. Clear Water Industries provides site assessments, installations and maintenance services for the White Knight.

Clear Water Industries specializes in on-site wastewater treatment system monitoring and maintenance. Clear Water Industries is currently contracted to monitor, maintain and service approximately 450 on-site treatment systems ranging in size from 220 gallons per day to 12,000 gallons per day design flow. The company is trained and equipped to make repairs to components of a wide variety of systems and respond to emergency calls at all times

Meet our Staff

David Clark David is the owner of Clear Water Industries. He is a Grade 2-M Wastewater Operator (#8677). He has 25 years of experience working in all aspects of the on-site wastewater field. David is also a licensed installer in many community on the North Shore of Massachusetts as well as a Title 5 Inspector.	Mark Cottrell Mark has a B.S. and M.S. is Civil Engineering with a focus in wastewater treatment. Mark holds a Grade 4-M wastewater operator license (#11739). Mark oversees all designs, sales and installations of the Waterloo Biofilter treatment system. Mark is also a Title 5 Inspector.


George F. Norris George holds a Grade 4-M wastewater operators license (#10928). George has been in the wastewater industry for 9 years. His expertise is in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning systems. George also holds a Title 5 Inspector license.	Steven S. Cottrell Steven is a Grade 4-M wastewater operator. He brings 16 years of experience in the wastewater industry to Clear Water Industries.
